2009 Tax Year Client Instructions
Monday, January 11, 2010 at 2:43PM As we approach the start of the 2009 tax season, these are some important actions and dates you need to be aware of to make this tax season as painless as possible.
Tax returns for tax year 2009 will be due April 15, 2010 unless you have a valid extension in place prior to that date. For those of you living outside of the US on April 15, 2010 you will receive an automatic 2 month extension to June 15, 2010 to file your return. This is an extension of time to file, not to pay any tax that may be due. All tax payments are due by April 15, 2010. For anyone who will not be able to provide their information by April 1st, please let me know so that we can decide if an extension will be necessary.
